HELP Promoting Pedal The Kettle

We need help promoting Pedal The Kettle (papering cars with our PTK flyer) at other rides. Specifically:

In order to encourage club members to help with these chores we will offer the following incentive: Any member that distributes flyers (by placing a flyer under the windshield wiper of each car) at the above stated rides; will earn one entry for each ride they distribute flyers. At the end of the year there will be a drawing from these names for a nice prize (TBD) approximate value will be $50.00

If you're planning to participate in the above mentioned rides, then just plan to arrive early to do the "papering".
If you're not planning to participate in the ride, then this is a good way to help the club promote PTK.

Steve Thompson will be the contact person for members to get the flyers.
Laura Fisher will keep a list of the volunteers for the drawing.

Chocolate Fest Ride Weekend

This weekends Sat. & Sun. ride are from Mukwonago to Burlington, where it just so happens that they are celebrating ChocolateFest. Check the Ride Schedule for start time and location information. Also, with the 3 day weekend, there's a bonus ride on Monday. It is a Spring City Spinners tradition to ride on the holidays that occur during the riding season. The ride goes through Wales and includes "the Northview Hills." But that's okay. We gather afterwards for a replenishing breakfast at Christina's, at 350 Delafield Street, Waukesha.

A La Grange Weekend

Both of our weekend rides start near the General Store at the corner of U.S. Hwy 12 and County H. We meet in the parking lot to the west of the store (across Hwy H).

The Saturday (May 10th) ride is the La Grange Exploratory - a 43-mile ride with many opportunities to shorten the distance. Generally, we ride westward to Milton before turning back towards La Grange.

The Sunday (May 11th) ride is the La Grange Figure 8 - you can pair this ride with the La Grange Exploratory (May 10th), and have little or no overlap. Ride options are approximately 20, 30 and 50 miles.

Don't forget, there's also the Tuesday and Thursday Show and Go rides every week.

Be sure to check the ride calendar on our webpage for start times and locations.
