YMCA Mini Triathlon

I got an email asking if I could tell our members about a Mini Triathlon event that helps the West Suburban YMCA. If you're interested, here's the details.


Mini Triathlon at West Suburban YMCA on Sunday, May 4, 9:00AM till Noon

10 minute swim, 30 minute spin, 15 minute run

Registration: $40 (proceeds go entirely to the Y’s Strong Kids fund) and includes a T-shirt

Fish Fry Ride Leader(s) needed

We're are looking for a ride leader to do the Friday Fish Fry rides, which are usually held the first Friday of the month.

We have talked with the owner of Saxes Restaurant and they are now willing to give us separate checks. It has been suggested that we may do a (Friday Fish Fry) ride twice a month.

The leader of this ride can decide where they want to lead the ride from. Either Saxes or Cornerstone. One ride would be on the roads and hilly the other could be on the trail.

If you are interested in leading this ride let Doug or Diane Wolak (ride coordinators) know.
